Well, Anrui, I officially present to you my first skin made specifically for our site! It's called HOW BOUT YOURS. You can find it in your profile > edit profile > settings > forum theme. You are more than welcome to choose between this one, BRAVE NEW WORLD, and reborn. The inverted reborn skin will be removed since we now have an actually-functioning dark skin. I would like to know what you think about the skin! What do you like about it? What do you love about it? What do you dislike about it? What do you hate about it? PLEASE the more feedback, the better. I will not get offended if you have anything negative to say - how else will I learn what Anrui wants, after all? I may or may not change the skin based on your feedback, but I will certainly keep it in mind for the next skin I make (probably around the summer time). Likewise, if you have any issues with the skin - you can't read something or something isn't showing up - please tell me! Things that inhibit you from using the site are things that I want need to know about so that I can fix them. Screenshots are usually very helpful, and also let me know which browser you're using, especially if it's different than chrome. (Screen resolution would be wonderful as well). I've been beta-testing this skin for about a week or so and have edited a few templates and whatnot, but please let me know if I missed anything! please tag @ jello with any questions, concerns, or comments! This will be made an announcement for about a month or so, but after that any members (new or old) are welcome to still chime in. Like I said, I want feedback from anyone.
in our new mini-profile, you have three more fields to fill in. You can find these in your profile > edit profile > personal. As with the other skin, you have your application link and your pc link. These two links are necessary - please fill them in if you haven't already! I also added in a link for your plotter. This one isn't necessary, and it won't effect the mini-profiles on any of the other skins. The other two fields work together. Where it says "Your Choice Link" you can enter in any link you choose - on site or off site (please keep it appropriate though). Where it says "Your Choice Name" you can enter in what you want that link to be labeled as. I recommend keeping it short, i.e. "shop" "music" "email" etc. If you have any questions about this, please let me know!
i have had on and off success with this skin on mobile. I have an iphone 6s and I use chrome as a browser. At first, I couldn't get the main hover up at the top to work (which is why I have those links outside of it). Now that I've played with it a bunch, they work just fine. The only other issue I can find is that when you create a thread, it makes the forum width much smaller... I might be sending in an ask to support about that bc I have no idea why it would only do it then. I also have a droid tablet, which I use chrome on. I can actually get the hovers working perfectly and without issue. However I still have issues with creating a new thread. If you share any of these issues, let me know. If you have other issues, let me know!
so as you can see, I went ahead and put a poll up for this thread. It doesn't expire so you can vote at any time. basically, I never really feel my skins are good enough to use as a default skin, but I also know that I'm very critical when it comes to my own stuff. so I figured I'd let y'all decide. some things to consider when you're voting: - is it aesthetically pleasing?
- does it relate to the theme/feel of the site?
- is it functional?
- does it function on mobile?
- does it give off a good first impression?
If there's something else you think we should think about before voting, feel free to add that in as well! reborn is not an option for voting, as that is a skin that I made for the new mysste and just reworked for anrui as well.

All across the nation pokevices light up, tv channels flicker to a local news station, and radios interrupt their usual broadcasts for an urgent announcement from our leaders. If you're one of the many watching from a screen, you'll notice an eager reporter standing next to an older gentleman who you may or may not recognize as President Cain. He seems to be dressed as though he is returning from a trip, or perhaps about to leave for one... Behind them, Antoinette's cold stare occasionally comes into view, however her charming brother Jasper is nowhere in sight. The reporter's voice is bright and cheery, excited about what she has to report. "Rebecca Brown here, coming to you live from Cain City with President Cain himself! He is bringing us some absolutely delightful news about our war against R.O.T.! Mr. President?" She faces away from the camera, turning instead to the older man beside her. She holds her microphone out and waits patiently, her eyes bright. Continuing to face the camera, President Cain clears his throat and pulls a piece of folded paper from his jacket pocket. "Uh, yes, thank you," he mutters to the reporter before staring into the camera. "As most of you are aware, there is a presence within Anrui known simply as The Resistance. This band of criminals has made it their sworn duty to deny scientific facts and to infect both human and pokemon alike with R.O.T. via the illegal spreading and training of pokemon." He pauses as he unfolds the paper in his hands. His voice is monotone, trained, emotionless. "This morning, we received a letter from a Resistance Admin known as Tybalt. You may recall his presence in both the bombing of St Jasper's Hospital, and the bombing of the ball held in its honor." At this point on the screen, a picture of the fiery admin appears in the upper right hand corner.  "The letter reads as follows: To President Cain, Team Plasma, and all of Anrui. It is with great modesty and humility that I am writing to you. For many years I have fought against you in the name of pokemon. I have ignored scientific reason and integrity, and I have risked the lives of thousands of people by raising up an army of pokemon trainers. I have ended the lives of innocent civilians through acts of terrorism, and my followers have turned Anrui from the peaceful paradise that it once was into a war-torn wasteland."
"I would like to apologize for my actions, however I know that something as simple as an apology will not be adequate. My words will not bring back the lives I have destroyed. Nothing will. So instead, I will be doing what I believe to be the next best thing: I am surrendering to you. You will find me in the abandoned shack off of the east coast of route five. My pokemon will be in my pokeballs beside me. They are yours to do with what you please. I implore you to do with them and with me what you will."
"I somberly await you. Tybalt."It is at this point that President Cain falls silent as he folds the letter and places it back into his pocket. The reporter looks at him, mouth agape, before giving herself a little shake and pulling the microphone back to her mouth. "So, Mr. President. Has Plasma indeed captured Tybalt? What does this mean for the Resistance?" she asks, her voice careful. Tybalt's image slowly fades from the screen. Once the paper is back safely in his pocket, President Caint turns to the woman to speak into the mic. "Yes, we have captured Tybalt. He is currently being held in the strictest Plasma Jail Center that we have available. His pokemon have been destroyed." He takes a moment to turn back to the camera. "All members of the Resistance are encouraged to turn themselves in," he begins again, his voice stern. "All members of the Resistance will receive a trial. Turning yourselves in, as opposed to a forced capture, will fare better in your favor. We hope to have as many citizens walk from our trials as possible, however that will only happen with your cooperation. In addition, if you turn in any useful information on any Resistance members, you will be rewarded." He turns towards the reporter and nods. Rebecca turns back to the camera, a giant smile on her face. "Astonishing! Well, there you have it folks. The Resistance has finally been disbanded. It looks like the storm that has been hovering over our precious region is finally breaking up, and the sun is on its way."The signal ends. Screens go blank. Stations return to their normal programming. Urgent Announcement - Again!!!
"Breaking news! This is Rebecca Brown, coming to you live from Lesca Island where Tybalt has been spotted!" Everyone's favorite news reporter, Rebecca Brown, is practically shouting into the mic with excitement as she runs down the street, every now and then glancing back into the camera behind her. "Yes, that's right, you heard me! Tybalt, the Resistance Admin known for his use of explosives and high civilian death count, is not in any Plasma jail cell, but is instead in LESCA!" She stops suddenly and points dramatically, the camera panning to where she is gesturing. There, in all his fiery splendor, stands Tybalt, surrounded by rough-looking resistance grunts. Rebecca turns back towards the camera and signals the cameraman to follow. As they get closer, it becomes easier to hear the speech that Tybalt is giving. "I don't know who the ---- these Plasma ----- think they are. I never sent that ------- letter. I never wrote a single ------- word. Do they ------- think we're all ------- ------ ---- idiots??"Rebecca turns to the camera, a surprised - and nervous - look on her face. It's difficult to tell if her unease comes from her having reported the original broadcast, or from Tybalt's... extensive... vocabulary. Or it could be a mix of both. "Well those -------- have another thing coming. If they even think for one minute that the Resistance has disbanded, then they're ------. ----. wrong." The small crowd around him begins to cheer louder and louder with each word. "If anything, this little slight of theirs will make the Resistance stronger! More unified! And more determined to bring those -------- down. So who's with me? The crowd roars and fists are thrown in the air. Tybalt continues to yell, however the signal is suddenly cut off. resistance isn't dead. but actually those plasma missions are real. please feel free to do them!

 MISSION BOARD PLASMA ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE
As you enter the small office, intent on showing your plasma worth and perhaps raking in a little bit of cash as well, you notice a short women dressed in standard plasma uniform. Her hair is pulled into a neat bun, her eyes are aided with glasses, and she holds clipboard in her hands. Glancing up at you, she sighs, pulling up on the huge computer screen behind her various missions. "Choose one to your liking, and be quick about it, please. You may only choose one at a time, and you must have it finished within the time limit. To help you achieve this, you may post in your threads that you are doing a plasma mission. A mod then may choose to aid you. Remember: all missions are automatically considered high risk." The lady then hands you the clipboard. "Now sign your name there with the number of your badge. Mission points should be recorded by you. They shall also be recorded HERE. When you finish a mission you should mention which reward you want." Note to Mods: Please keep on top of this list. When a character takes a mission, add their name to the list. When a mission is completed, or if they fail the mission, remove their name from this list! If the coding is intimidating, pm or tag jello and she will add them to the list. Likewise, if mission completion has other effects (such as the smuggler mission) please see that those effects are also carried out. EASY WORTH #-# MP
